Highway 6A
Two friends, Jessica and Maria, have reunited along with three other classmates, at the funeral of a friend, some 15 years after they both attended a private New England boarding school. Jess, originally from Ontario, is now an (unemployed) writer, actress and editor in New York who recently left an uninteresting boyfriend, doing a cash-only courier express delivery service while working part time at a magazine publisher. After their graduation, Maria returned home briefly to her family in Europe, but now dividing her time between two continents, spending her summers in New York. The years have passed, but when the five women meet again, it rekindles the long but now distant relationship between two of them while they go on a road trip up to Cape Cod, reliving their school years and earlier youth they have since forgotten.
